We arrived much later then we had hoped, however still had time to set up and get settled in the new trailer.

We have met two of the three couples we will be working with while we are here at the camp. Today we joined Mil and Linda at First Baptist Church of Atlanta. The message was wonderful it was on Psalm 61 and the minister preached on 5 benefits of prayer. Let me share the 5 and you see after reading the Scripture what God shares with you.

1. Prayer can preserve my sanity.
2. Prayer can provide stability.
3. Prayer is a place of safety.
4. Prayer can produce security.
5. Prayer is our pathway to strength.

I can think of many situations in my life when I cried out to God in prayer looking for all five of these items. And as He has promised in the Bible helped me see that all 5 of these are attainable through prayer.
