Finding Friends on the Road

One of the bonuses of SOWERs is all the great friends you meet on the road. In the past 5 months we have made many new friends that we are looking forward to seeing again on the road. Even if we are working a project alone we have opportunities to build friendships with our hosts and those we meet as we are out and about. I love how the Lord brings all different types of fun folks into your life. The wonderful things this group shared was many dinners together.

The ladies had a few afternoon outings. Many thrift store adventures since it was half price from 1-3 PM every day. Couldn’t miss out on that! We also did an afternoon at the “Chapel on the Hill”. Behind the chapel was a beautiful prayer walk with prayer stations. It was beautiful and if you are in the area of Rapid City you should stop in. And of course no outing is complete without Dairy Queen!!

As we move on from one project to another there is nothing better then to know we will see everyone again….at some point!

  • No better adventure then being married to your best friend since 1981. We had 5 children, 8 grandchildren and currently 2 great grandchildren! We love Jesus and can't wait to share Him with you through these posts....
